ABOUT DAISY
Daisy, encouraged by her mother Angela, began riding at the tender age of two. She progressed through Pony Club activities, riding on area teams and completing her Pony Club journey, by winning the Pony club National Open dressage Championships in 2012.
On completing her academic education, she started riding for list one judge Judy Firmston-Williams, hacking her horses at lunchtime and then schooling one of her five year olds, Daya.
Daisy was still eventing at this point, up to intermediate BE and International 1* on her incredible horse, Urbanus II (owned by Felicity Norrie). Over time she started riding for multiple owners and converted to pure dressage.
Daya and Daisy were a great match and won their first Young Horse class with Daya on 80%, qualifying them for Hickstead International, where they were Reserve Champions. They won eight National titles together before stepping up to the most prestigious level, Grand Prix.
In 2018 Daisy was part of the British Equestrian Federation Young Professionals Programme where she won a bursary for a month’s training with Olympic rider Gareth Hughes. Today, Daisy continues to train regularly with Gareth as well as with Judy Harvey.
